Vetsense

Permetrol is an insecticidal spray and rinse concentrate for dogs and horses. Permetrol aids in the control of:

• Tick Control
• Biting insects (Culicoides sp.)
• Stable and Fly Nuisance on Horses
• Management of Queensland Itch
• Aids in the treatment of allergic dermatitis(summer eczema) in dogs
• General Purpose Insect Repellent

Active Constituents:

40g/L Permethrin 25:75 (cis:trans)

Horses:

Use for the control of pyrethroid sensitive flies - buffalo fly (Haematobia irritans exigua), stable fly (Stomoxys calcitrans) and biting insects (Culicoides sp.). Also an aid in the treatments of Queensland Itch.

Dogs:

Use for the control of fleas (Ctenocephalides felis, Ct canis) and ticks (adult Rhipicephalus sp.). Also an aid in the treatment of allergic dermatitis(summer eczema).

Cats:

DO NOT USE ON CATS

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

This product should not be used on cats and animals under 12 weeks of age. When diluted in methylated spirits, the product should not be used on broken skin.

Horses: 10mL per 400mL water. Spray as required for fly nuisance. For Queensland Itch [Culicoides bite hypersensitivity] spray twice weekly until Buffalo Fly symptoms abate, then as required.

Dogs: Dilute 10mL per 400mL of water or methylated spirits if rapid drying is required.

ZONE CONTROL: To obtain maximum flea control, treat the animal's environment by cleaning the bedding and resting places and then regularly spraying the entire area with the diluted product. Treat all pets in the house with a suitable product. Vacuum/clean the carpets and surroundings regularly. Continue treatment all year round. If flea problems persist, seek veterinary advice.

WITHHOLDING PERIOD (HORSES): NOT TO BE USED on horses intended for human consumption.
