What are Horse Riding Boots?
Riding boots are designed to give the rider comfort and safety whilst on and around the horse. The sole is design to ensure grip on the stirup without the deep grooves that would allow a rider to get 'hooked up' in the stirrup in the event of a fall. A horse riding boot will also have a heal to help prevent a riders foot slipping through the stirrup. This is once again a safety feature. Riding boots are made from leather or synthetic material and should offer comfort and support for the rider, whilst at the same time offering some protection for the foot in case the horse forgets where to place it's hooves.
