GMV Paraffin Gauze Sterile Dressing consists of Gauze which has been impregnated with hospital grade white soft praffin. It is used for the primary wound contact layer and the paraffin helps prevent adherence to the surface of the wound. It is applied to the wound, and an absorbent pad, such as GMV Gamgee is held in place with GMV Medi-Vet-Wrap or Equiplast.
The dressing should be changed frequently as per the advice given by your Veterinary Surgeon.
