Dubbin is a old favoutie of people who love their leather goods.

Joseph Lyddy Dubbin contains natural oils and waxes designed to sften and preserve your leather good and help keep them waterproof.  Dubbin may be used on footwear, boot, jackets, bridles, and saddles.  It is wise to test a small patch in a discrete area first as the Dubbin may darken the leather.

Directions for using Dubbin

Wipe the suface of your leather goods clean witha soft cloth.  Rub the Dubbin into the leather with a brush or soft cloth paying special attention to stitching, welts and soles of footwear.  Use a gentle circular motion and keep the spread of the Dubbin even accross the surface of the leather.

Allow the the Dubbin to penetrate into the leather.

Do not use on Suede or Nubuck Leather.

Nubuck is top-grain cattle leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side, or outside, to give a slight nap of short protein fibers, producing a velvet-like surface. It is resistant to wear, and may be white or coloured.
